Welcome to CXPlayer! CXPlayer is a tool product provided by us. To explain how CXPlayer collects, uses, and stores your personal information and what rights you have, we will explain relevant matters to you through this guide. CXPlayer is operated by Hefei Weijie Information Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliated companies (hereinafter referred to as "we," "platform," or "CXPlayer"). We attach great importance to your privacy and personal information protection, and have formulated the "CXPlayer Privacy Policy" ("this Policy") in accordance with the "Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Information Security Technology Personal Information Security Specification" (GB/T), and related laws and regulations, as an integral part of the "CXPlayer User Agreement." The personal information we mention in this privacy policy, including the collection, use, management, sharing, and transfer of personal information, includes bolded and underlined personal sensitive information and other personal information. 1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

(1) User Registration/Login Function

  1. Obtaining Your Phone Number: When you use the CXPlayer platform and services, you need to register a CXPlayer account. During this process, you need to provide us with your mobile phone number and create an account name in order to make fuller use of all the functions of CXPlayer. Refusal to provide a mobile phone number will prevent you from registering an account.

(2) Function Browsing and Normal Use

  1. Reading External Storage Permissions: When you use the create and deploy function, we need to access your device's external storage to obtain the images/videos you need to select. You need to provide this permission, otherwise this function will not work properly.
  2. Install Application Permissions: In order to provide better services, we will update the latest version when adding new functional sections or solving existing problems of CXPlayer, and apply for install application permissions; if you refuse to provide this permission, you will only be unable to use this online update function, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions of CXPlayer.
  3. Uploading Content: We will store the images, videos, and text information you upload so that the content you create can be played on the screen device. In addition, we will not use it for any other purpose.

(3) Purchasing Products and Services

Record Purchase History: When you apply for CXPlayer membership or purchase products and services provided by CXPlayer, we will generate a purchase order for you through the system, which specifies the product or service information you purchased, the amount you should pay, and the purchase time. We collect this necessary information to help you complete the transaction smoothly, ensure the security of your transaction, and facilitate your query of order information.

(4) Safe Operation

In order to improve the security of your use of the CXPlayer platform to provide services, protect the personal and property safety of you or other users or the public from infringement, better prevent phishing websites, fraud, network vulnerabilities, computer viruses, network attacks, network intrusions and other security risks, and more accurately identify violations of laws and regulations and CXPlayer-related agreements, we may use or integrate your device information, log information, etc. to comprehensively judge your account and transaction risks, conduct identity verification, detect and prevent security incidents, and take necessary recording, auditing, analysis, and disposal measures in accordance with the law.

  1. Device Information: We will receive and record the device or user-related information you use (such as device model, device settings, SN information, MAC address, unique device identifier and other hardware and software feature information), and device location-related information (such as IP address) according to the specific permissions you grant during platform installation and use.
  2. Log Information: When you use the products or services provided by CXPlayer, we will automatically collect your detailed usage of our services and save it as a network log, such as the time you use a single function.

Please note that separate device information and log information are information that cannot identify a specific natural person. If we combine this type of non-personal information with other information to identify a specific natural person, or combine it with personal information, this type of non-personal information will be regarded as personal information during the combined use period.

(5) Functions Necessary to Improve Our Platform and/or Services

In order to give you a better experience, we are committed to continuously improving our services. In this process, we may collect your function browsing and usage, conduct data analysis to form user profiles, and understand user service needs. We may also obtain your other information for the reasonable needs of providing services and improving service quality, including the relevant information you provide when you contact customer service, the questionnaire responses you send to us when you participate in questionnaire surveys, and the relevant information we obtain when you interact with our affiliates and our partners. For information collected from your various devices, we may associate them so that we can provide you with consistent services on these devices.

(6) Usage Rules

After collecting your personal information, we will strictly use it in accordance with the following rules:

  1. We will strictly abide by laws and regulations and this privacy policy to use your personal information.
  2. We will encrypt, de-identify, or anonymize your personal information by technical means in accordance with the law.
  3. When you cancel your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.
  4. When we need to use your personal information for other purposes not stated in this policy, we will seek your consent again.

According to relevant laws and regulations, collecting your personal information in the following situations does not require your authorized consent:

  1. Related to national security and defense security;
  2. Related to public safety, public health, and major public interests;
  3. Related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments;
  4. For the purpose of safeguarding the life, property and other major legitimate rights and interests of the personal information subject or other individuals, but it is difficult to obtain your consent;
  5. The personal information collected is disclosed to the public by you yourself;
  6. Collecting personal information from legally publicly disclosed information, such as legal news reports, government information disclosure and other channels;
  7. Necessary for signing a contract according to your requirements;
  8. Necessary for maintaining the safe and stable operation of the products or services provided, such as discovering and handling failures of products or services;
  9. Necessary for legal news reports;
  10. Academic research institutions conduct statistical or academic research based on public interests, and when providing academic research or description results to the outside world, they de-identify the personal information contained in the results;
  11. Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.

Please understand that the functions and services we provide to you are constantly updated and developed. If a function or service is not described in the foregoing and collects your information, we will separately explain the content, scope, and purpose of the information collection to you through page prompts, interactive processes, announcements, etc. to obtain your consent. If we stop operating the CXPlayer platform or service, we will promptly stop collecting your personal information, notify you of the cessation of operation in the form of individual delivery or announcement, and delete or anonymize the personal information we hold.

2. How We Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information

(1) Sharing

We will not share your personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals other than CXPlayer platform service providers, except in the following circumstances:

  1. Sharing with Explicit Consent: With your explicit consent, we will share your personal information with other parties.
  2. Sharing Under Legal Circumstances: We may share your personal information externally in accordance with laws and regulations, the needs of litigation dispute resolution, or the requirements of administrative and judicial authorities in accordance with the law.
  3. When you use your CXPlayer mobile account to log in to other platforms operated by us and our affiliated companies, in order to facilitate your use, we will share all the information collected in Article 1 of this policy with the aforementioned products or services, such as your remaining membership time, frequency of function use, etc.
  4. Sharing with Affiliated Companies: All the information collected in Article 1 of this policy will be shared with the affiliated companies of Hefei Weijie Information Technology Co., Ltd. The use, processing, and collection of your information by affiliated companies are also subject to the purposes stated in this privacy policy. If affiliated companies need to change the purpose of processing personal information, they will seek your authorized consent again. Our affiliated companies include: Hefei Weijie Information Technology Co., Ltd. and its branches and subsidiaries; we and our affiliated companies are collectively referred to as "CXPlayer."
  5. Sharing with Authorized Partners: We may entrust the following types of authorized partners to provide you with relevant services or perform functions on our behalf. We will only share your information for the legitimate, justified, necessary, specific, and clear purposes stated in this privacy policy. Authorized partners can only access the information necessary for them to perform their duties, and shall not use this information for any other purpose. Currently, our authorized partners include the following types and authorized purposes are mainly as follows:
  • Specific Functions. When software service providers, smart device providers, or system service providers jointly provide you with services with us, such as authentication services, SMS services, etc., in order to achieve this function, we may collect your relevant device information (such as hardware model, operating system version number, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI), network device hardware address (MAC)) after de-identification and provide it to the aforementioned providers.
  • Product Analysis. In order to analyze the usage of our services and improve the user experience, we may share statistical data on product usage (crashes, crashes) with third parties. This data is difficult to combine with other information to identify your personal identity.

(2) Transfer

We will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual, except in the following circumstances:

  1. With your explicit consent, we will transfer your personal information to other parties;
  2. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation, if personal information transfer is involved, we will require the new company or organization holding your personal information to continue to be bound by this privacy policy, otherwise we will require the company or organization to seek your authorized consent again.

In the following circumstances, sharing, transferring, and publicly disclosing your personal information does not require your prior authorized consent:

  2. Related to public safety, public health, and major public interests;
  3. Related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments and other judicial or administrative law enforcement;
  4. For the purpose of safeguarding the life, property and other major legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals, but it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person;
  5. Personal information that you voluntarily disclose to the public;
  6. Collecting personal information from legally publicly disclosed information, such as legal news reports, government information disclosure and other channels.

3. How We Protect Your Personal Information

  1. We have used security protection measures that comply with industry standards to protect the personal information you provide to prevent data from being accessed without authorization, publicly disclosed, used, modified, damaged, or lost. We will take all reasonable and feasible measures to protect your personal information. For example, we provide HTTPS protocol secure browsing for the CXPlayer platform; we will use encryption technology to ensure the confidentiality of data; we will use trusted protection mechanisms to prevent data from malicious attacks; we will deploy access control mechanisms to ensure that only authorized personnel can access personal information; and we will hold security and privacy protection training courses to strengthen employees' awareness of the importance of protecting personal information.
  2. We will take reasonable and feasible measures to avoid collecting irrelevant personal information, and will only retain your personal information for the period required to achieve the purposes stated in this policy or the statutory period, unless it is necessary to extend the retention period or is permitted by law.
  3. We only allow employees and partners who need to know this information to access personal information, and have set up strict access control, permission approval processes, and monitoring mechanisms for this purpose. We also require all personnel who may come into contact with your personal information to fulfill corresponding confidentiality obligations. If a third party fails to fulfill its confidentiality obligations, we may pursue legal liability and terminate cooperation with us.
  4. The Internet is not an absolutely secure environment, and e-mail, instant messaging, and other communication methods with other users are not encrypted. We strongly recommend that you do not send personal information through such methods. Please use complex passwords to help us ensure the security of your account.
  5. In the unfortunate event of a personal information security incident, we will inform you in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations: the basic situation and possible impact of the security incident, the disposal measures we have taken or will take, suggestions for you to independently prevent and reduce risks, and remedial measures for you. We will inform you of the relevant situation of the incident by e-mail, letter, telephone, push notification, etc. When it is difficult to inform the personal information subject one by one, we will take reasonable and effective ways to issue an announcement. At the same time, we will also report the handling of personal information security incidents in accordance with the requirements of regulatory authorities.

4. How You Manage Your Personal Information

We attach great importance to your management of your personal information and protect your rights to access, correct, withdraw consent, and delete your personal information. Your rights include:

(1) Delete Your Personal Information

In the following situations, you can request us to delete your personal information:

  1. If our processing of personal information violates laws and regulations;
  2. If we collect and use your personal information without obtaining your consent;
  3. If our processing of personal information violates our agreement with you;
  4. If you cancel your CXPlayer account;
  5. If we terminate the service and operation.

If we decide to respond to your deletion request, we will also notify the third parties who have obtained your personal information from us and require them to delete it in a timely manner, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, or these third parties have obtained your authorization. When you delete information from our services, we may not immediately delete the corresponding information in the backup system, but will delete this information when the backup is updated.

Each business function requires some basic personal information to be completed. In addition, if you wish to withdraw your consent to our additional collection, use, and disclosure of other personal information, you can contact us to withdraw your authorized consent.

After you withdraw your consent, we will no longer process the corresponding personal information. However, your decision to withdraw your consent will not affect the personal information processing activities carried out based on your authorization prior to the withdrawal.

If you do not want to receive commercial advertisements sent to you by us, you can reply to unsubscribe via SMS prompts or other methods we provide.

(3) Account Cancellation

You can cancel your CXPlayer account at any time according to your own choice. You can directly apply to cancel your account in our products or contact us to assist you in canceling your account. After you cancel your account, we will stop providing you with products or services, and we will delete your personal information in accordance with your requirements, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations.

(4) Responding to Your Above Requests

To ensure security, you may need to provide a written request or otherwise prove your identity. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.

In principle, we do not charge fees for your reasonable requests, but we will charge a certain cost fee for repeated requests that exceed a reasonable limit. We may refuse requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require excessive technical means (for example, require the development of new systems or fundamentally change existing practices), pose risks to the legitimate rights and interests of others, or are very impractical.

In the following situations, according to the requirements of laws and regulations, we will not be able to respond to your request:

  1. Related to the personal information controller's performance of obligations stipulated by laws and regulations;
  2. Directly related to national security and defense security;
  3. Directly related to public safety, public health, and major public interests;
  4. Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments;
  5. The personal information controller has sufficient evidence to show that the personal information subject has subjective malice or abuse of rights;
  6. For the purpose of safeguarding the life, property and other major legitimate rights and interests of the personal information subject or other individuals, but it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person;
  7. Responding to the personal information subject's request will cause serious damage to the legitimate rights and interests of the personal information subject or other individuals and organizations;
  8. Involving trade secrets.

5. How We Handle the Personal Information of Minors

  1. Our products, websites and services are mainly for adults. Minors may not create their own user accounts without the consent of their parents or guardians. If you are a minor, we recommend that you read this privacy policy carefully with your parents or guardians, and use our services or provide us with information with the consent of your parents or guardians.
  2. For the collection of personal information of minors with the consent of parents or guardians to use our products or services, we will only use, share, transfer or disclose this information with the express consent of parents or guardians or when necessary to protect minors.
  3. If we find that we have collected personal information of minors without obtaining verifiable service consent in advance, we will try to delete the relevant data as soon as possible.

6. How Your Personal Information is Transferred Globally

  1. In principle, the personal information we collect and generate in the People's Republic of China will be stored in the People's Republic of China.
  2. Since we provide products or services through resources and servers all over the world, this means that, after obtaining your authorized consent, your personal information may be transferred to overseas jurisdictions in the country/region where you use the product or service, or be accessed from these jurisdictions.
  3. Such jurisdictions may have different data protection laws, or even no relevant laws. In such cases, we will ensure that your personal information receives sufficient equivalent protection in the People's Republic of China. For example, we will ask you for your consent to cross-border transfer of personal information, or implement security measures such as data de-identification before cross-border data transfer.

8. Third-Party SDK List

In order to ensure the realization of CXPlayer-related functions and the safe and stable operation of the application, we may access software development kits (SDKs) provided by third parties to achieve relevant purposes. We will conduct strict security monitoring of the software tool development kits (SDKs) that partners obtain information from to protect data security. We list the relevant third-party SDKs that we have accessed in the directory. Please note that third-party SDKs may have certain changes in data processing types due to version upgrades, policy adjustments, etc. Please refer to their official public statements for details.

9. Revisions and Notifications to the Privacy Policy

  1. In order to provide you with better services, CXPlayer and related services will be updated and changed from time to time. We will revise this privacy policy from time to time. Such revisions constitute a part of this privacy policy and have the same effect as this privacy policy. However, without your explicit consent, we will not reduce your rights that you should enjoy in accordance with the currently effective privacy policy.
  2. After this privacy policy is updated, we will issue an updated version on the CXPlayer mobile client, and remind you of the updated content in an appropriate manner such as notification or announcement before the updated terms take effect, so that you can understand the latest version of this privacy policy in a timely manner. If you continue to use our services, you agree to accept the content of the revised policy, but if the updated content requires the collection of new personal sensitive information, we will still seek your consent again in a prominent manner.
  3. For major changes, we will also provide more prominent notifications (including for certain services, we will send notifications via email explaining the specific changes to the privacy policy)
  • Significant changes in our service model. Such as the purpose of processing personal information, the type of personal information processed, and the way personal information is used;
